Day Three (Katie Okumu)

Our next stop was Dyersville Iowa. Dyersville is home to the Feld of Dreams, the location of the movie which shares its name. We played an amazing game of baseball between the Salty Dogs (they were in the blue uniform) and the Irish Setters ( green uniform). Every Player had a turn to bat, and every member not in play was heard cheering loudly. A break was taken half way through to eat peanuts and crackerjacks while singing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” at the top of our lungs. After that we headed to the KOA in MN where there A) lots of corn, and B) lots of swimming. We were all excited to have a long night of fun and free time before we departed to Walnut Grove to perform ALL DAY. We miss our Berea family. XOXO
